OnTrack Washington County is pleased to announce that we are ready to hire permanent staff to lead our organization to the next level. This will start out in the form of an independent contractor serving as an Interim CEO until OnTrack acquires it’s 501(c)3 non-profit status and can transition this position into a full time employee. Public Notice of Educational Leadership Opportunity For Our Community:
The OnTrack Board of Directors is seeking request for proposals for an independent contractor to perform interim CEO duties for the organization while successfully transitioning OnTrack into an independent 501(c)3 non-profit body.
OnTrack is a new organization that aligns public, private and non-profit resources and opportunities from cradle to career empowering individuals to maximize their potential through educational and vocational endeavors. OnTrack serves as an umbrella organization facilitating collaboration among 37 stakeholder organizations in an effort to improve workforce development and raise the educational attainment levels of the citizens of Washington County.
This contract will be competitively funded, and commensurate with the experience of the candidate and quality of the proposal. This contract is expected to last for a minimum of 6-months until OnTrack’s 501(c)3 status is obtained, and permanent staff can be hired in this position. As an independent contractor, hours will not be tracked, but the contract assumes a full-time workload will be required to fulfill desired goals and objectives for the average candidate.
The ideal contractor has a strong connection to Washington County, a Bachelor’s Degree or higher, and relevant experience in education and workforce development. The role requires a strong, passionate leader with effective facilitation skills, persuasive communication skills, fundraising and grant writing skills, and exceptional project management.
