2nd Annual 7th Grade Career Exploration Day a Success!

“It’s never too soon for the student to start thinking about their career, what they might want to do or something they thought they wanted and discover it’s not what they want to do,” WCPS Superintendent Boyd Michael said.

The event, in its second year, is an OnTrack initiative in partnership with Washington County Public Schools, Washington County Chamber of Commerce, HCC, the Greater Hagerstown Committee and the WCPS Education Foundation.

With about 100 presenters from local business, organizations and nonprofits, Michael said, the community collaboration gives students a chance to look at different paths and talk to people in those careers.
